A little bit of History :

‘Cap de Bila’, the end of the town, has been the name of the axis around which the district developed since ancient times. In the Middle Ages, the area consisted of fairly large farms, gradually replaced by houses surrounded by gardens and vines, and the possessions of the canons of Saint-Seurin. Rue Capdeville curves broadly to join its natural extension, Rue de la Croix Blanche. During his first stay in exile in Bordeaux, Goya rented a shop ‘around number 10’.
